  • Increase the safety and security of the students to allow them to focus on learning

  • Respect parental input and advocate for Parental Notification in all areas of the student’s school experience

  • Improve Academic scores-with a focus on reading, math, science, and Career Technical Education

  • Ensure student reading material is age-appropriate

  • Collaborate with parents, board members, teachers and district personnel

  • Carry out my duties in a transparent, empathetic and thorough manner

Why I am Running

I have decided to run for the RUSD School Board in order to bring back transparency and traditional values to our schools.

About Me

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 40 years of experience advocating for the protection of students

  • Educating parents, training staff and directing social service agencies in Redlands and the Inland Empire

  • 44 years married to a U.S.M.C Vietnam combat veteran

  • Mother and grandmother

  • 36 years living in RUSD area 4

  • Loves God, country, family, and friends
